An extension of Plastic-free Biennale…
You know those times when you look around you & realise some people just want good things for you? I have so much gratitude for the people of Kandos, Cementa, WayOut ArtSpace, Alex Wisser, Michael & Jack who helped us put the exhibition together, working with Rox De Luca & of course, my Mentors Lucas Ihlein & Kim Williams. Yes, this is supposed to be a post about the what we did & what we achieved- which was huge. But for the moment, I’m just ok to tell you about the people and opportunity I’m grateful for.

Plastic-free Kandos: a group project, stemming from Kim Williams & Lucas Ihlein’s Plastic-free Biennale (2020) in NIRIN, the Sydney Biennale. It brought a group project from the city to the regional town of Kandos in NSW. It was an amazing opportunity to share with the local community, an exhibition of installations, social engagement workshops, performance and artist talks. This project was made with the support and assistance from many! Funding support was gratefully received from Create NSW, Small Projects Grants and Creative Leaderships.

Community artworks made with Rox De Luca, WAYOUT ArtSpace, Kandos NSW.
